The Teledyne SevenCs S-101 Writer for FME is a plug-in SevenCs has developed for processing of geo-spatial data (with the Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) from Safe Software Inc.) that is supposed to be used as source for S-101 data production.
In conjunction with FME the plug-in enables customers to convert geo-spatial data that may exist in a variety of formats or databases for integration into new generation ENCs complying to IHO S-101. This includes file-based S-57 to S-101 conversion e.g. to quickly explore or verify how an S‑57 dataset translates into its S‑101 equivalent.
Fast data access and great performance are guaranteed due to the integration of SevenCs’ S-100 Kernel Nautilus, which serves as the technological backbone of the S-101 Writer.
