CARIS HPD 5.0.10 integrates SevenCs with S-100 Data Management System

This integration enables a streamlined workflow for S-57/S-100 data processing and quality control:

• Process with HPD’s industry-leading production tools
• Automate upload of HPD products to SDMS.
• Validate and Review using SDMS’s advanced quality control and digital signing capabilities
• Automate corrections with a seamless feedback loop; failed data is returned to HPD for correction

This joint solution enhances efficiency, ensures data integrity, and supports compliance with IHO S-57 and S-100 data standards.

The new version brings significant enhancements and feature expansions, many of which are the direct result of valuable feedback from our user community.

Smart Validation: SDMS shows imported datasets produced with HPD and shows which of them are ready for validation. Image based on S-101 test datasets sourced from UKHO.

Data fixing initiated by SDMS: HPD source editor launches automatically, displaying the dataset, error messages and affected feature geometry.

IHO S-58 Edition 8.0.0 Validation

Validation tools for S-57 ENC Production have been upgraded to support the latest IHO S-58 Edition 8.0.0 ENC Validation Standard (June 2024). This assures producers that their ENC products pass the new Minimum ENC Validation Checks, directly increasing the confidence, reliability and consistency that mariners require in these products.

IHO S-158 Edition 1.0.0 Validation

Tools for S-100/S-101 have been updated to include validation checks from S-158:100/S-158 Edition 1.0.0 draft versions.
