CARIS recently participated in an Underwater Technology Seminar in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The seminar was jointly organized by Unique Group, Bayanat, Kongsberg Maritime and CARIS. It was well attended by organizations involved with underwater survey and mapping from the Middle East region.

As part of the seminar Kongsberg Maritime and Unique conducted hydrographic survey operations with an EM2040C and the acquired data was then processed in the latest version of CARIS HIPS and SIPS 9.0 highlighting its many new features and tools.
