Rear Admiral Ian Moncrieff to speak at CARIS 2012
CARIS is delighted to announce the addition of Rear Admiral (Retd) Ian Moncrieff, Chief Executive of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office, to the CARIS 2012 opening session.
Rear Admiral Ian Moncrieff became the Chief Executive of the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office in October 2011. He previously held the positions of UK National Hydrographer and Chief Operating Officer. He has a long and distinguished Naval and Joint Operations background spanning more than 30 years of which 20 have been seagoing.
Rear Admiral Moncrieff will be joined by the Honourable Keith Ashfield, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans of Canada, as well as John Delaney, Professor of Oceanography at the University of Washington. The opening session will offer a variety of perspectives from unique industry stakeholders and is sure to be an exciting kick-off to the largest international gathering of CARIS users!
CARIS 2012 suite upgrade draw winner
The winner of our suite upgrade draw for the first 50 CARIS 2012 delegates who booked their room at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver has been selected.
