CARIS' Alliance Partner, Unique Systems FZE, successfully organized a series of one-day demonstrations over a four-day period in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Live survey sessions were demonstrated onboard one of Bayanat’s (formerly Military Survey Department) survey vessels, which was installed with a Kongsberg EM 2040 and the data was processed in CARIS HIPS and SIPS by CARIS BV’s Support and Training Manager, Ottokarl Büchsenschütz-Nothdurft.

More than 90 delegates from various organizations in the region attended the demonstrations. The demonstrations showcased the high quality of the data surveyed with the Kongsberg EM2040, as well as, the efficient and complete processing of it in CARIS HIPS and SIPS.
