CARIS BV’s Charles de Jongh was recently at the National Institute of Hydrography and Navigation (INAHINA) in Mozambique conducting a Paper Chart Composer training course. INAHINA has been a long time customer of CARIS and is in the process of upgrading their chart production to include the newly released Paper Chart Composer.

The week long training course focused on the workflow for creating official and customized paper charts. Training topics included sheet and panel definition, conversion of ENC data to paper chart features, digitizing tools, topology, annotation, masking, and vector and raster outputs.
