CARIS Attends the 3rd Mexican Hydrography Convention

From April 27 to 29, CARIS Account Manager Juan Carballini and Team Lead Processing / TSC José Arias, travelled to Mexico to attend the 3rd Mexican Hydrographic Convention. Hosted and organized by the Mexican Navy, the conference took place at the Carmen XXI Convention Centre, in Ciudad del Carmen. It was attended by approximately 600 people from various Mexican public organizations, industry, academia, and the Navy.

Juan and José each had the opportunity to deliver presentations on exciting new features offered by our products. Juan conducted a presentation entitled "Different Uses of Bathymetry", while José presented "Digital Elevation Models", facilitated by shared survey data collected with a Teledyne Reson T50P sonar.

On the final day of the conference, Juan and José presented "New Tools in CARIS". This information session highlighted the capabilities of CARIS Onboard™, the new SIPS Backscatter engine found in CARIS HIPS and SIPS™ 9.1, and vertical feature modeling with CARIS Bathy DataBASE™.
