CARIS BV’s Ottokarl Büchsenschütz-Nothdurft recently held a CARIS LOTS Limits and Boundaries training course at the General Secretariat of the Boundaries Affairs Council in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The training was a refresher course, reiterating the general functionality as well as discussing the finer technical details and aspects of the various lines and how to realize them in the software. Compared to previous training, it also contained exercises on an enhanced set of boundary delimitation methods.

As a result, it provided the participants with further input into their ongoing limits and boundaries delimitation projects as well as how to integrate the CARIS LOTS application into their general workflows.
