Teledyne CARIS is pleased to offer marine and hydrographic professionals in the EMEA region access to training on the latest technology across the Ping-to-Chart™ workflow.

A training course has been scheduled at the Teledyne CARIS EMEA office in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands for existing and prospective customers.

 

HIPS and SIPS Training

January 21–25, 2019
Deadline to register is January 2, 2019

This comprehensive training session focuses on leading data processing, visualization, quality control and product creation techniques using the most recent version of HIPS and SIPS. The latest technology in the software will be covered during the course in order to familiarize participants with best practices to improve processing efficiencies and gain more control over the quality of their hydrographic data. This will include the new simplified project creation, automatic boresight calibration, one-step processing as well as efficient process automization using the next generation process designer!

Further topics covered during the training will include:

  • New features and interface handling changes
  • Multibeam processing techniques
  • Water column imaging functionality
  • TPU and CUBE
  • 3D editing and fly through

Audience

This course is aimed at new HIPS and SIPS users who want to learn about the functionality and how to use the software correctly and efficiently. It is also applicable for experienced users who want to learn about the new tools in the latest version and improve processing workflows.

NOTE: A basic understanding of hydrographic/topographic data and the use of computers is assumed for all course attendees. No previous experience in HIPS and SIPS is required.


Training Facility

The training will be held at the Teledyne CARIS EMEA office, located at Bremvallei 1, 5237LV 's-Hertogenbosch. The training facility is equipped with individual workstations to ensure that every course participant receives a full hands-on experience during the course.
